Cheerful Service Done Right!

Members of Migisi Opawgan Chapter held a project at First United Methodist Church on Monday, June 15. The kitchen at the church hadn't been used in about a year due to Covid restrictions and the chapter provided some deep-cleaning to get things going. There were about 25 Scouts on hand and they provided a total of 38 hours of service.

Short Term Camp Administration Training

Adult leaders are invited to attend a new training offered by National Camp School. Short Term Camp Administrator Training is required for at least one adult attending any overnight camping trip for a group larger than a single unit.
This means your troop can go, but Chapter, Lodge, District, and Council events will all requires a Short Term Camp Administrator.
Training is offered in two virtual classes, each of which will be 4 90 minute sessions. Dates are March 22, 23, 29, and 30 or April 19, 20, 26, and 27.
We are asking that a few adults from the chapter attend so we we can host chapter camping events.
